NightLase Treatment For Snoring and Sleep Apnea

NightLase is a revolutionary treatment that harnesses the power of Er: YAG laser energy to decrease the amplitude of snoring and reduce the effects of sleep apnea. The treatment has a high success rate in producing better sleep patterns. Patients love it because it helps alleviate snoring and sleep apnea symptoms without using any medications, chemicals, or long-term use of devices while sleeping.

How NightLase Works

This gentle, non-invasive therapy works by contracting the collagen fibers in the oral mucosa tissue, which has an overall tightening effect on the tissues contributing to snoring and obstructive sleep apnea. The NightLase® system is designed to deliver heat into the superficial tissue layers, preventing tissue damage or other adverse effects while still providing excellent results. The treatment is performed without the need for anesthesia using two steps:

The laser light preheats the tissues in a preconditioning phase
The laser light strengthens the tissue

Dr. Carlson and Associates will consult with you about the optimal treatment plan for your needs, but most patients typically benefit from 3 separate treatment sessions spaced out over six weeks.
